I was there with my pregnant wife. Now sitting here with my 3.5 year old son whose carrying on a conversation with me. That was definitely too long ago.

I have watched that game dozens of times from the fake punt on. My wife will come home and say are you watching that game again, Yep. The joke in my house is when someone says what should we watch and I say "well we have the FSU v. au game"

Jameis and Kelvin get all the pub...but Rashad Greene was the one that made that last drive happen. Wish he could stay healthy in the NFL.
Yep. One of my all time favorite players. He and Kez McCorvey, from another era, just made things happen no matter what.

I was sick as heck that night, had to get through that stress with no booze, and stayed home for the next couple of days. Brjight side was that I watched it several more times, on all of the different ways espn broadcast it. I believe that was the first time for the setup with the coaches round table, with them commenting as things were happening. It was very cool. One of them, think it was Addazio, called out the kick return while the ball was still in the air.

We got to go, knew it would be a special trip, didn't know just how special it would be. Leaving the game, we saw some boxes in the back, and grabbed a couple of these. The guy was confused, but sold 'em dirt cheap. Wish I had grabbed a couple more as I didn't get enough.

Enjoyable championship, but lost ten years of my life that night. Only lost five years with the VT game and another 7 with the Huskers game. The 2014 game comes in third to the other two Nattys imo.

I've only been able to go to 1 in person and therefore it was the best ever!!!!!! Or so far anyways.

Since then lost but those were the best unis in college football. Hands down. I wonder how long the new crappy uni has to be out before the old one is brought back as a vintage/retro.

I remember turning to my wife and telling her "I'm never coming to another one of these!", (we went to the 98 champ game). Then Kermit ran back that kick...
What a great game!

I ended up with a few of those. Sent them to some AU buddies when I got back. They didn't find it quite as funny.

Still salty over the horse collar non-call on Green.
That had to be a purposeful no-call, right? Is there anyway the trailing ref didn't see that? Uo suppose he could've been looking at the sideline for the out of bounds spot, but that was so obvious.

I was there. I went to a house party thrown by FreeFly and it was only about six blocks from the Rose Bowl. The house he rented was small and the bathroom was always busy so I watered the lawn.

I stayed in Burbank at the Best Western and the place was full of Auburn fans. By the time I got back to the hotel they were ready to haul ass out of town, still wearing their game gear.

There was definitely a trailing ref. It was a blatant no call of an obvious penalty. Good thing that ref wasn't responsible for calling the PI in the end zone later in the drive.
