Happy Father's Day

Being a Dad is the only truly important job I have ever had. All of the other ones are mostly nonsense, and merely a means to an end. Being a Dad (or Mom) can -- like almost everything -- sometimes be stressful and frustrating. But it's still, by far, the greatest gig I have ever had.

Johnnie, I don't know how old your children are but the satisfaction you get as a father when your children grow into fine adults and are successful in more ways than just financially is tremendous. That's when you know that you did a good job.

Happy Father's Day.

Happy Fathers Day you two...and all others to follow. My only child/son just graduated from FSU in May, exactly 35 years after I did...the heavy lifting is done, but he's a great kid with a ultra bright future...but I'll be here to dispense any advice when needed. Have a great day..enjoy what you all post. Thanks

Home all alone today; well got my dogs. The proudest moments in your life are when your kids do great things or you get compliments about them from people that you aren't really that close to. By far the toughest thing to do in life is be a parent. You have to do difficult things or make difficult decisions about people you love more than anything else in the world.

Happy Father's Day.

It's words like those^^^^that stand as proof of the great job your father did. Carry on.
Happy Fathers Day to all.

That song has always hit close to home for me as my old man traveled a lot for work, just as I have. It helped me to understand how important every single interaction is on this earth.
Happy Father’s Day y’all! Don’t miss any possible time with your kids, because life happens ever so quickly. Grab every second, cherish that time together. Time waits for no one.
