I made some homemade red beans and rice over the weekend. It was delicious. The king cake was sadly a little stale. I wish I was in New Orleans today.

The most fun in Rio at Carnaval is just to sit at an outdoor cafe and watch the local street bands parade through the streets. And, they rarely stop. It just keeps going.
