I've taken a few days off to "get stuff done", one of them to clean storage closets. Opened some plastic bins that have not seen the light of day in nine years.
Found the campus paper from Ohio State welcoming FSU to Columbus back in '81, picture of me tailgating outside the erector set in '82 for the Pitt game (the epic downpour game), and the program from the very first Hall of Fame Dinner in May of '77, autographed by Burt Reynolds.
Photos of the sidelines from FSU's first visit to South Bend, a bumper sticker from one of our trips to the Orange Bowl. A reunion celebration program from 1988 for Coach Pete that was like an NFL coaches convention. Photo of a young Gary Huff laughing while watching my son try to cut his birthday cake at 5 years old.
I have other bins to go through but I'd forgotten all the stuff I have- a one hour job ended up taking two so I could walk down Memory Lane.
