HBO series Succession: Anyone watch it? *possible spoilers*

The season finale for the series Succession aired last night. Season 1 felt a bit like a clumsy, bizarro version of Billions (which is a much better show overall, even including the first season).


Bit of a roller coaster season, some highs and lows. Show arc was not predictable, IMO, and finale was a little surprising.

Anyone else watch it this season?

Have watched it when I travel; seems interesting and I probably should start from the beginning.
Since I am home alone the last couple of days I started watching Shooter; mainly to have some background noise while I work. The movie was ok and I didn't think a series would be worth my time. It is actually pretty good; realistic fire fight scenes etc. Was even more surprised that they could make season 2 interesting.

I haven’t seen the finale, but have seen every other episode. I like how they seamlessly weave drama and slapstick comedy.

I've been watching it and will watch the finale tonight. I thought the season was okay especially the last few shows after the 'vote of no confidence' episode.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. While an obvious shot across the bow of the Murdochs and Trumps (not being political) it was clumsy, but, based on my experience, probably not as bizzaro as one might think.

I watched the first few episodes, never got into it and eventually stopped watching all together.

Roman bringing the chick who snowballed Tom to Tom’s wedding is the most dastardly thing I’ve ever seen.

Loved the first season and I’m anxiously looking forward to the next.
