Just signed up for HelloFresh. Anyone care to share their experience with it?
They’re pretty easy meals. I’d say blue apron is like the elevated version. The benefit to any of the meal boxes: if a recipe calls for like sesame oil or something, they provide as much as you need and you don’t have to go out and get $12 worth of it and have a full bottle just sit in the pantry forever. Also, I feel like it’s easy to fall behind with cooking them, so maybe start with two a week and go from there.
Great pizzaDont know but I started getting Lou Malnati’s pizzas delivered to me in Georgia. Pretty pretty pretty tasty.
Agree to disagreeWe tried Blue Apron and didn’t like it near as much as HelloFresh. I also like how HF packages everything (except for the meat) in a single bag whereas Blue Apron has a small bag with some of the ingredients and the rest of the ingredients are randomly tossed in the box.
Heh, I thought that was you in your avatar. Guess you are a dood. It’s fantastic! My wife and I have been using Hello Fresh for about 3 years now!
Their customer service is top notch! If you have any problems like missing ingredients (which rarely happens) just call them and they will take care of it (refund).
The quality of all the meals is great! It’ll teach you cooking techniques and how to properly season stuff as well.
I know you’ll enjoy it because we surely do!

So how many nights a week do you all get the meals and how much is it roughly?
I've used them twice, once for me and another for a gift and been pleased both times. The steaks were comparable to a dedicated quality butcher shop ant better than any grocery store around here. The chops were quite good as well. The burgers were very good. The sides were meh not bad not great.Anyone buy one of those meat boxes from Omaha steaks? IF so, was the meat better than you can get from a local butcher and would you buy again?
Omaha no, Allen Brothers, definitely A+++Anyone buy one of those meat boxes from Omaha steaks? IF so, was the meat better than you can get from a local butcher and would you buy again?
