I know I’m late to the dance but this show is amazing. Wow. 1 three seasons my wife and I were on the edge of our seats. Season 4 is pretty good so far.

For those of you that have season all 7 seasons what are your thoughts?

I highly recommend for summer binge watching.

I was late to it also, but absolutely loved it. Claire has been my girl since Romeo and Juliet.

Can’t stand Claire, her outrages were unbearable, kind of like Jeff Bridges. I quit the show years ago.

First couple seasons were good, then had a couple down seasons. Thought the two most recent seasons were good, esp considering the writers having broadened the scope from the tired old story lines to something more timely and relevant.

Miss Quinn…
man they did that dude dirty. was painful watching him deteriorate but the guy is a heck of an actor.

as far as the series, i'm ready for it to be wrapped up.

imo there's room on tv for a series focusing on the intersection of social media/misinformation, foreign influence, domestic terrorism, etc... homeland was a reflection of America's 2000-2010s battles, this would be a reflection of what we're up against in the next 10+ years. homeland, to its credit, smartly pivoted in that general direction but basically ran out of characters and gas.

I'm curious how they do this last season given the circumstances with Keri.

There were a couple really slow seasons over the last couple years. The last one with the radical radio guy and the weirdo president were a bit too much for me. We'll watch the last season but it's not been good in a while IMO. The show definitely feels like it lost it's direction.

------- SPOILER ALERT ---------

They never should have had her leave the CIA, and losing Quinn was catastrophic IMO. Not a good choice as far as writing goes. And Matheson's constant over-the-top battles with her bi-polar are a bit grating.

Agreed. But it was so poorly written - clumsy and ham-fisted in my opinion - that it really wasn't really all that intriguing to watch. Running out of gas is a good way to put it.
