Think about it... It's amazing... We've got an RPI of 13..we're in the toughest and deepest conference in the country with nine teams in the dance. Syracuse, which I believe is one of the best 64 teams in the country, couldn't get in. We lost only ONE game where we were within 5 at the half. That was probably our 2nd worst loss, against Temple. early in the year. Other than that we lost to ND twice, UNC, Duke, Syracuse, Pitt (our worst loss), & Ga. Tech (3rd worse loss). All of those games, I believe we were down by 8 or more points at the half. But we beat 5 Top 25 teams, Duke, ND, Louisville, UVA (road), UF, and 6 top 50 games against Miami (twice, one road), VA Tech (twice), Minnesota, Wake Forest,..that's ELEVEN Top 50 teams, 2nd most in the country behind Duke. We also beat NCAA Tourney teams Winthrop and Iona. The key here is to be within 5 at the half and we can beat....anyyyybody..... I also think that the key to our team is how well XRM plays...if he plays well, we win...when he struggles.....so do we... Thoughts? I mean, you can bash Coach Ham all you want, but if anyone had said at the start of the year that we'd be 25-8 at the end of the season, finishing 2nd in the ACC regular season, with this resume, wouldn't you have been pleased? Now I realize that nothing short of a Sweet 16 appearance will satisfy, and I agree. I think we are going to be a Sweet 16 team.
