When Fisher became the head coach he was very upfront that he wasn't just getting really good athletes to come here but he was reworking the entire way we do business as a program. He hit the ground running and in 5 seasons he's wrecked the ACC and SEC for that matter, won us a natty and made us apart of the first ever playoff. You knew big changes were taking place structurally off the bat.

I don't quite get that vibe from ol' swamp donkey. From a recruiting standpoint I would think he'd have to move fast to secure big time commits this first season to make a splash and get some momentum. They are playing around right now with 4 4* and a slew of 3's. That speaks to me that he's not that big personality to step into a room and get kids to join him. Then there is the arm's race and it sounds like their IPF is almost complete, which is a step in the right direction, but Fisher had a whole list of facilities that he needed ASAP. Where is that? What does that say about his ability to get boosters to jump in and fund a serious plan going forward? And there is nothing out there about training programs, psychological programs, progress evaluators and all around support staff.

He's a quiet guy and I suppose all this could be done behind the scenes but I don't know why you'd want to be secretive. I'd broadcast the hell out of that and put the rest of CFB on notice that UF football is back. Exactly like we did. If UF gets embarrassed this year against us, that sets them back big time. The talent discrepancy going into this year's game is on par with the season where Meyer was beating our ass so bad that they took a knee, that even Meyer had sympathy for us.
