My almost 16yo son and I have watched it, and he asks me...."Did he [Jordan] ever have a bad game?"

"Yes....his bad games were 20 points, 4 & 4."

You know you are old when the 1st thing I thought of was Donna Summers "Last Dance" song from '78...

Too many episodes. If it were 2-4 episodes I may have watched it, but 10 is way too many.

I watched it all. It was super entertaining no doubt. That being said it wasn’t anything especially revelatory for anyone who followed his career and it definitely framed him very positively.

I had forgotten quite a bit from then. And if you have listened to the 30 for 30 podcast, the director swears MJ had very little input. Whether true or not, who knows.

Only when he played Larry Bird and the Celtics. :D

Pro Bball was just such a different game back then that it is hard to recognize it. Gotta say aside from allowing zone defenses, don't like it, I prefer the today's game. "Positionless Bball" is real Bball in my opinion. Just because someone is a 4 or a 5 doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to dribble and shoot. Today's players should be able to play better on ball D though, so bad.

Jordan didn't have bad games vs the Celtics, although they lost the series. That one series, he had 50 and 63, didn't he?

Remember the context of the question... Did Jordan ever had a bad game. Not if they ever lost a game/series.

He did and Bird said, "It's just God disguised as Micheal Jordan" lol. There is no doubt Jordan was the better player one on one but Bird played on a better team at that point in time. Here is the total match up which as a Celtics fan I was surprised and forgotten how well the Celtics did vs the Bulls during those years.

In those 28 games, however, Bird has a 17-11 record. It's in the playoffs where Bird dominated against Jordan. They met just six times and Bird's Celtics swept Jordan's Bulls. Jordan averaged nearly 40 points per game (39.7) to Bird's 27.2 in those playoffs, but Bird wound up getting the better of Jordan.

With Micheal's competitiveness I don't doubt for one second he was every happy or satisfied with losing to the Celtics when Bird was in his prime. It suspect it drove Jordan to a higher level of greatness in his game.
