Good Lord. Just saw this guy on a pre-race NASCAR show. He has to be well over 250 pounds. He is packed into that fire suit with zero room to spare. No wonder he is no longer relevant on the track.

A buddy of mine is a sportscaster who deals with him in Daytona twice per year, and he reports that Tony is the biggest tool in all of sports. And that's a mouthful because there are plenty of jackasses in the sports world.

Also, as a car owner his driver won the championship last year and currently leads this year. One of his other drivers won the race today. So he's quite relevant in the sport today.

The dude can flat drive a race car! He has won Championships in Indy Car, NASCAR, and Sprint Cars. I watched him run sprint cars cars when he was a kid. 1400 lbs and 900+ bhp. If he can fit in the car ( he won't fit in an Indy car anymore ) he will drive the wheels off of it.

Plus, he more than just a driver, having started his own successful racing team and owning a track. He and Michael Waltrip earned my respect by doing that instead of just being a driver collecting a paycheck.
