Winning the first two games at the WWS is so key. A big day of tomorrow to rest up and onky need one of the next two to get to the finals. Also really happy we avoided Stanford. Their two pitchers are really good. Wasn’t our cleanest game but we came up big when we needed it.

Is Oklahoma beatable?

They are. They only beat us 5-4 earlier this year. We can’t make the same mental mistakes we did against Washington though. Can’t give free runs (Mudge not throwing to 3rd base) , free outs when we’re on base (running on a catchable fly ball like there’s two outs instead of only one), or free bases (Live ball in the pitcher’s hand not paying attention to runners on base).

Yes it will be difficult, but the Noles already know that they can play with them.

Stanford gave them all they wanted in game 1.

OU has really hurt teams with the long ball this year (114 HR on the season). Interested to see how Kat matches up with them and the way she can keep the ball low in the zone. Thought Canady from Stanford did a great job of making OU have to manufacture offense by stringing hits together. A tall task either way, but maybe the Noles match up well enough to make the Sooners have to sweat it a little. FSU's athletic defense could also come up big vs. OU.

Stanford can beat OU if they keep pitching the way they are. I definitely agree about keeping the ball down against them. I like Leonard too cause she does a really job keeping the ball down in the zone.
