And I’ve been guzzling koolaid for a while now. . . But I firmly believe this offense will be potent. The improved talent, size, and depth of the OL may be the biggest reason. . . But the legs of Travis, his experience and time in the system, and now some playmakers at WR should all add up to be greater than the sum of the parts. One aspect helps another, which helps another. . .
Last season, even when Travis completed a nice pass, there just wasn’t any YAC’s by the receivers. We may see some of that this season. The running backs should not only be able to get tough yards, but have the ability to get chunk plays at any time. Sustain drives long enough and eventually one of the playmakers will break one (including Travis with his legs).
I know most will have a “I’ll believe it when I see it” type attitude, but I can’t wait to see this machine go. Hopefully we can really get some big leads so the second string can get some real minutes to continue to build for the future like we did back in the day.
Go Noles!
