The gates opener... Wow this team is horrendous. In their last 36 games vs FBS, they are 2-34. No FBS program in the entire country has fewer wins the last three years than New Mexico State. Over this span, they've given up 55+ points 7 different times, the most in the country.
A few weeks ago I posted that I wouldn't be surprised if NM State keeps it close, but now I'm not so sure. That program is putrid. The one positive is a big gate victory will give their fans another false sense of hope, for one week. Then they'll be in a dog fight with an ECU team that dominated them last year.
