But, I can now say California tops the list. I'm excluding driving in LA County with heavy traffic. The drive from LA to Sacramento up the 5 and 99 freeways included some of the worst left lane cruising I have ever seen. This people seem oblivious to what they are doing. There were also several clowns who got on the freeway and proceeded to immediately get in the left lane and cut me off, even while I was clearly driving faster than they were. Belem, what have you done to these people?

Maybe Californians are so used to being in stop and go traffic that they don't know the rules once they hit the open road?

I'm willing to forgive all the left lane drivers in California, if only they could stop people from driving on NEITHER/BOTH lanes on motorcycles. It might make some sense when traffic is in a bumper-to-bumper crawl, but when you're doing 30-40 and they come screaming down the lines at 80, that's the craziest thing in the world.

I've lived in Northern CA for 4 years & jump on people daily for riding in the left lane when passing no one. Drives me crazy.

And the motorcycles who "lane split" are the worst. One of the stupidest laws ever created.

Florida is definitely up there near the top of the list. I recently did a round trip from JAX to Port Charlotte and left lane hogs were the worst on I-4. Most of the people doing it had out of state plates, most notably New York, New Jersey and a few Massholes. The Canucks just started heading back north too.

This.
...and lets add using "emergency flashers" while driving in the rain to the list.
