it is because they send a nice letter with a book asking for a donation. I get it, they are trying to up their game. Problem is, I have been donating for about 15 years now.
Some book or some crap that came with it. It had to cost at least a dollar to send, plus the costs of printing. I guess I just don't understand why they would send items to people trying to get them to join Boosters, when they are already a booster. What book?
Oh a coupon for a back rub from Jam? I must not be on that booster level yet.
We did it that way when Bobby was here and it worked, why would we need to change now?The future is in paper and direct mailing. The Boosters are trendsetters. From the group that brought you the Champions Club.
Michael Scott agrees. Sometimes I wonder if he works for FSU.The future is in paper and direct mailing. The Boosters are trendsetters. From the group that brought you the Champions Club.
I used to wonder why they had issues until I realized how many boosters were sensitive nancys, now I know why. Some book or some crap that came with it. It had to cost at least a dollar to send, plus the costs of printing. I guess I just don't understand why they would send items to people trying to get them to join Boosters, when they are already a booster.
" I have friends I went to college with who say, “Aw, you should donate. Be a good alumnus.” And they wear shirts that say “School.” It’s like, look, if you’re an adult still giving money to your college, college is a $120,000 hooker and you are an idiot who fell in love with her. She’s not gonna do anything else for you. It’s done. In their letter, they were like, “Hey, it’s been awhile since you’ve given us money.” I was like, “Hey, it’s been awhile since you’ve housed and taught me.” I thought our transaction was over. I gave you $120,000 and you gave me a weird cinder-block room... and the first real heartbreak of my life...."
-John Mulaney, from his Netflix special, 'Kid Gorgeous'
Maybe Legacy Golden Chiefs could get a visit from Mia Khalifa.Maybe they could have selected alums visit potential members personally...nothing like direct contact. Gabrielle Reece should be on the traveling team to Texas.
Took me a second realize that was a finger.
