Our company does business with many small companies all throughout Europe who use Independent Contractor's for auditing purposes. This law is insane, and the fines have the potential to basically end an entire industry putting tons of smaller companies who can't afford the extra personnel and legal staff completely out of business.
This is one of the broadest, most vague laws I've ever seen, with massive reporting requirements and no exemptions on the size of fines or reporting regulations regardless of the size of the company or it's profitability.
