I know we’ve all been burned in the past, the pain is real wanting the team to excel, and getting hurt and let down when they fail. It makes us put up walls, barriers to optimism. . . Nobody wants to endure the pain of getting hopes up, just to be disappointed. I drink the kool aid every year, i guess I love the pain.
With that said, doesn’t this year seem different? We have depth. Real depth. All positions have a variety of players which will be competing for minutes, and they now at least look the part at every position. Yes. . . Every position including linebacker and offensive tackle.
Last we started to see real progress. There was hope by the end of the season.
Can we finally let our guard down? Can we be optimistic for this season? Will this team be competitive in every single game of the season?
