I think that uf is on very thin ice with their football program.
Hear me out on this, as I even question myself on this theory just being wishful thinking...... FSU is in a "bubble" with regards to the type of campus/atmosphere that we have. Rolling hills, beaches nearby, lots of outdoor activities, TCC, FAMU, College town, amazing sports facilities, it really is a beautiful place to live and attend school.
uf is not that pretty of a campus. Its ok, but really nothing special. They have lots of money and success on the field in the past
uf is 90 minutes from UCF. UCF is going to offer everything that uf offers in a college and also satisfy those that want the big city experience. They are super close to beaches too, and they are pumping out graduates at a high rate.
UM just hired a havard guy as president. He will raise a bunch of cash, but will he direct any of it toward football?
So, over the next 10-years, where and why would you rank the "Big 4"? Here is my ranking:
1. FSU (Jimbo train, ability to offer a big-time college experience unlike any other school in Florida)
2. UCF (O'Leary is a good one, will replace uf as a "go-to" program due to location, size)
3. uf (I wish UM would be here, but uf will outspend UM so they will be relatively decent, the SEC will keep them a mid-range program)
4. UM (Until they decided and figure out how to be relevant again, they will be 4th)
Sound about right?
Go Noles!
