I was fortunate enough to meet Jameis Friday night. He was in a room of who's who in sports-----70 plus known athletes. Many of them were former FSU players....Peter Warrick and others.
So Jameis walked in with his girlfriend and it looked like bees on honey. I was one of those bees. He took his time to talk to me and pose for a picture. His table was also near me and I watched him during evening(not in a creepy sense). This young man conducted himself with as much class as anybody I have ever seen. You would not have known he was the #1 draft pick, signed a $25 million contract and was probably the most popular person in the room. All at the ripe age of 21. It was a real treat to see a young----and very rich man ----act in that classy manner.
I am a 37 year FSU fan and a Buc fan from day one in 1976. JW's career at FSU was fabulous and I hope he has just as great a career in the NFL.
