FSU senior Jeremiah Davis was named the ACC's Indoor Field Performer of the Year.
Davis earned ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week honors an eye-opening four times during the regular season, and then took Most Outstanding Field Performer honors at the ACC Championships by placing first in both the long jump and triple jump. The Lehigh Acres, Fla., senior took the bronze medal in the long jump at the NCAAs and placed fifth in the triple jump to lead the Seminoles to a top-15 team finish.
In addition to Davis’ award, the ACC released seven other winners. Clemson’s Giano Roberts was the men’s Indoor Track winner and Katelyn Tuohy of NC State was the women’s winner. Notre Dame’s Jadin O’Brien won women’s Field Performer of the Year, while Kenna Stimmel (Virginia Tech) and Wayne McCoy (Clemson) were the league’s Freshmen of the Year. Virginia Tech’s Dave Cianelli was named Coach of the Year.
Davis, who was the ACC Outdoor Field MVP in 2022, is a five-time first team All-American as a long and triple jumper. He has finished first 11 times over his career so far including six times already in 2022-23.
