Jimbo says our WR's "stink"...

Dropping passes; bad and wrong route running; not getting open... I'm sure that all three of these things were true but perhaps there are a couple of factors that Jimbo did not mention.
1) perhaps the defense based on the offensive formations simply has a really good idea what the offensive plays are likely being run? Couldn't that explain why our WR are not getting open/separation?
2) And perhaps Coach Fisher's lack of pre- snap motion and pass patterns that require precise & relatively short route running simply does not create enough mismatches and space downfield for our WR's? Think about how many times Jameis was able to barely squeeze laser like passes into very tight spaces just 7 to 12 yards downfield. And how often our WR's were covered like a blanket on many plays last year. And how many of JW's interceptions were a result of forcing passes where our guys were covered like a blanket or running into the heart of our opponent's zone defense.
How often does FSU send its RB in motion on an intermediate or long wheel route pattern against a slower OLB down the sideline, after it's WR's have cleared that space out?
How often did we use our speed at WR to stretch a defense by heaving the ball downfield on deep post patterns forcing the opponents safety to pick the right guy?
* Note-- I'm not making an excuse for dropped passes or guys not correctly running their routes the way they are coached to do them. But, I don't think we spread defenses out enough and good defensive coaches and teams have begun to drop LB's and move safeties into the spots that are receivers all too often are running towards. Hoping for more motion and some added creativity this fall. More motion and Golson, should he win the job should go hand in hand. Force defenses to have to also account for our QB. Anyone else one the board " buying"?
