The Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) released its 2024 Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List on Tuesday, July 30, selecting 75 defensive standouts from 56 schools in nine Division I FBS conferences plus Independents as contenders for the national defensive player of the year. Seven ACC student-athletes from seven different schools were named to the preseason watch list.
