Audrey Koenig and Khori Louis were named to the AVCA Southeast All-Region Team this morning while Taylor Head was named Honorable Mention. Koenig and Louis were named to the team for the second consecutive season to become the 17th and 18th players in program history to record multiple AVCA All-Region honors.
Koenig capped off her career in style as she earned First Team All-ACC honors for the second consecutive season. She finished the season with 399 kills which is the most by any Seminole since Payton Caffrey in 2019. Koenig also recorded 50 aces this season which is the most by any Seminole since Mira Djuric in 2009. Koenig went on a historic stretch from Sept. 1 to Nov. 24 where she recorded 10 or more kills in 25 consecutive matches which was a school record. Koenig ends her career with 1,356 kills which is the second most in school history in the rally scoring era.
Louis also saved her best season for last as the Tallahassee native recorded a career-high 349 kills while also hitting .430 which ranks first in the ACC and eighth in the entire country. Louis will finish her career with a .385 hitting percentage which is the best mark in school history. The First Team All-ACC honoree also led the team with 118 blocks and 1.14 blocks per set.
Head finished off her career with a solid season for the Noles. Head was third on the team with 318 kills but was very impressive on the defensive side as she led the team with 334 digs while also recording 57 blocks. Head recorded 12 double doubles this season including 10 double doubles in her final 17 matches.
