At one time both linebacker Riley Pettijohn and defensive Jakaleb Faulk had official visits scheduled with Florida State this weekend. Sources have told the Osceola that neither player will be on-campus this weekend.
In fact, Pettijohn is reported to be taking an official visit to Ohio State this weekend. He also has visits to Texas, thought to be the leader in his recruitment, and USC scheduled in June. Pettijohn took an unofficial visit to Florida State this spring and at that time the Seminoles were in the mix for the talented linebacker. It was thought that the fact he had a brother attending FAMU would keep the Seminoles in the battle for Pettijohn but those hopes seem to be fading.
Faulk has been committed to Auburn since last August and was always thought to be a long shot for the Seminoles to land. His brother as most of you know plays for the Tigers. So, really his visit not coming to fruition isn't that much of a surprise.
Originally, defensive back Lagonza Hayward was going to make his official visit to FSU this weekend but that has now been pushed back to June.
As of right now, safety Onis Konanbanny is the only prospect expected to be on-campus this weekend.
