My dad bought a second home in north GA and has been wanting to get a motor home to use going there and to FSU games. He doesn’t want the major expense of owning one so thought about leasing but not sure if leasing an RV is even a thing? I tried looking online but couldn’t locate much. Any help is much appreciated!

I don't know about leasing, but I know you can rent them. Rented a class A for the Oklahoma game a few years back and had a blast.

Plenty of sites that allow you to rent.

Not sure if there is a difference in leasing and owning outside of payment terms and how long you have the RV. The day to day I would think is the same.

I still can't understand how this is possible. I had to get a CDL (called a Chauffeur's License back then) to drive a truck smaller than a city bus (being the size, and chassis, of some of those RV). I had to get a Motorcycle License to just scooter around. But Joe Schmoo can just get in one of those and cruise around (at around 35 mph in the third lane on the interstate)?

Any ball park idea on how much to rent? We have considered buying one but that might not be necessary if renting is an option.

lazydays website has info on their rental program. From a quick glance, it looks like they start at around $325 per night if you rent one for a week. That's for the nicer ones, looks like the smaller, less fancy ones start around $100 per night.

Plus they charge you for every hour you use the generator.

Semi, you had to get a CDL because you were being paid to drive that truck.

Huh? I thought it was so I wouldn't drive over an old lady in her Cadillac. Which, coincidentally, is why i don't drive a truck anymore.
She didn't stop at the stop sign....and I tried to miss her, but the side of her car was stripped off by my trailer, down to the inner panels. And it was only because I had training that I didn't absolutely remove her from the planet. And that's why I wonder why people can just jump in an RV, and think they can drive it.
