Lockheed Martin to build new facility in Florida, hire 1,800

Hiring 1,800 people is a bit misleading. They plan to hire those 1,800 people to work on the new project, but only 500 will be staffed in Florida. I am sure there will be others staffed at the facility in Orlando, but they do not give specifics on those numbers.

Bottom line is they are hiring 1,800 for a new project and 500 of those will be staffed in Florida.

That's still a good start, by any measurement.

They are probably going to make it part weapons theme park. It will be fun using their cruise missile simulator to blow up places like the Magic Kingdom.
That is quite an advancement on the water cannon from Sea World.

That would be awesome. Could we accidentally miss and float a cruise missile about 100 miles north of Orlando?
