Lockheed Martin to build new facility in Florida, hire 1,800

This is really good news for Florida. I'm not sure of the facts on this but from I've heard, over the years, Florida needs to try to lure in these types of jobs.... as opposed to the lower paying jobs for the hospitality industry.

Hiring 1,800 people is a bit misleading. They plan to hire those 1,800 people to work on the new project, but only 500 will be staffed in Florida. I am sure there will be others staffed at the facility in Orlando, but they do not give specifics on those numbers.

That would be awesome. Could we accidentally miss and float a cruise missile about 100 miles north of Orlando?
