It sounds like the final few pieces of the 2025-26 Florida State basketball roster are still being worked on.

In the meantime, FSU coach Luke Loucks has been on the recruiting trail this week, visiting and talking to quite a few high-school prospects.

He stopped by West Oaks Academy in Orlando to meet 2025 center Paulo Semedo, 2026 4-star center Marcis Ponder, and 2026 point guard Willie Burnett III and watch them play. One could be a late addition to the 2025 class while the others are still a year away from enrolling. Semedo is listed at 7-foot-1, 220 pounds so he's certainly a developmental center option. Has offers from Arizona State and Miami along with FSU.

Loucks also had dinner with 2026 4-star guard Brandon Bass Jr. and his family Tuesday night. Brandon Bass Sr. played in the NBA from 2005 through 2017 and Loucks has some times from his own time in the NBA world. Bass Jr. is the No. 48 overall recruit in the 2026 class according to Rivals. FSU trying to get into the mix there. Offer list includes Purdue, Houston, LSU and others.

Finally, Loucks is going for an in-home visit with 2026 4-star power forward Toni Bryant (No. 16 recruit in the class) on Wednesday afternoon. Another guy with a prolific offer list out of Wesley Chapel (Fla.) North Tampa Christian.

As you can see, Luke is practicing what he preaches about trying to keep in-state talent in the state of Florida. All of these prospects are planning on taking official visits this spring/summer to FSU.
