I think it should be policy over there at ESPN to have a seasoned/retired coach do color on every single game that is called. These guys educate and are fair to both teams because they know how hard it is to win football games, no matter the opponent.
People don't realize all the time that while FSU is elite in it's talent, and recruits the best of the best, kids on these teams are still amazing players coming out of high school.... I remember playing against guys in Highschool who had offers to FAU and Fresno St. and thinking how amazing they were. It's not easy earning a scholarship to a D1 school.... that's hard, and BC has the history of being a big program. Guys like Brown, they call it fair and realistic. At the very least a lot of cliff jumpers might be able to somewhat enjoy tight games when guys like Mack are calling it, I was very pleased with him and the other fella tonight. While it wasn't pretty, it shows just how fast the players on our team are, that's 2 games where 270lb guys looked like world class sprinters. And we've got some mean nasty boys on that D-line.... tonight was a positive, we didn't lose and like a champion team does, one side picked up the slack from the other.
Don't count out the Noles this season, I've said it many times already, I like this team we've got, some of the boys are hungry and mean!
