Plenty of time left. I'm sure Marcus will lead the charge and catch up to Jameis with a win over rudderless Miami today.

For over two quarters I had to listen to the announcers talk about how he was playing hurt and what a gutsy performance it was and how the line sucks & doesn't help him out at all.

It really is amazing how he has become such a media darling.

Just a second there, K'Yon.
The OL excuse is patented by TC to explain any problems that Jameis has faced this year.

That's not true. TB has an awful Oline. No one with a passing knowledge of football will argue that. Winston gets hurried on almost every passing play but his problem is that he still thinks he can make every throw fit. The shakey OL play just makes him throw off balance and with poor mechanics more than he should. I don't know much about the Titans OL bc I don't follow them but I do know that TBs OL struggles but is getting better. Kind of goes along with JWs improvement.

Not to mention all the penalties in the o-line for TB and when winston was getting a decent pass wr's dropped many....................MM 67 QBR.

Folks..I'm watching ESPN now and you guys are right..OMG..excuses...

I heard the announcer say that the guy made an amazing pic and it was not the fault of Mariota..

He was hurt. That's not an excuse. It's the NFL.

I thought Jameis was the better prospect because Mariota had a history of leg injuries that dramatically impacted his ability to play. The guy is a thoroughbred. Those are the ones that have constant issues.

I'm not saying Jameis didn't have some drop-off with his ankle injury, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad.

My point was that whenever Jameis throws an interception or makes a mistake the announcers/media seem to think he's out on an island and it's all his fault. Having watched three separate Tennessee games, the way they talk about Mariota & actually defend the guy is crazy. Such a stark contrast in the way they talk about the two. Mariota is the princess and Jameis is the villain.

Oh you should see Tennessee's SB Nation site. It's literally everyone else's fault. At the end of the day the NFL is about winning. If you can't do that, you're Tebow to GMs.
