Matt Baker's article from today's TBT whining about treatment he got from FSU fans regarding his coverage of the sexual assault allegations against Winston. This is the journalist who is rumored to be friends with the Kinsman family, and who blew the whole thing wide open with his open records request in late 2013.
I don't think anybody will condone what he describes in the article (FSU fans threatening him, listing his number on craigslist, etc.). But it is worth mentioning that he maybe received 1/1000th of the venom that was unfairly directed at Winston who was never, and will never, be charged with a crime. His awful one-sided reporting is what pushed the false "Jameis is Guilty" narrative that many still believe, despite the evidence to the contrary.
I am sorry that Baker was threatened and harassed by a sampling of FSU fans, but he brought it on himself by being the Kinsman family mouthpiece, and purposefully neglecting to report the significant exculpatory evidence while pushing his agenda-driven articles. Sorry Matt, you're bad at your job, and you should feel bad.
