I have read these sentiments both now and when he was hired as the HBC at The Florida State University!
This is not an attack on those posters many of whom I respect as posters.
That said, He in no way DESERVED a shot!
He was GIVEN a shot b/c of his name and his loyalty to FSU!

He was an asst coach from 1998 to 2019 at FSU under his Dad.
Without any head coaching experience he was given the job even though
the program had been declining for quite a few years, 2019 CWS run notwithstanding.

That is someone who went out and proved himself "deserving of a shot..."
There are others with impressive resume's who could have deserved a shot.
MMJr was NOT ONE OF THEM!
