Munich octoberfest

Does anyone know if they keep the beer tents up through Oct even though the event ends Oct. 3rd? If not, do they rotate cities or is it done mainly in Sept because of weather?

Have a chance to go there Oct week 2 or 3.

I think it will be all done by then, but fret not: there will still be plenty of beer in town.

If you are dead set on going to a fall festival, try googling other towns within driving distance. There is more than just "Oktoberfest".

You'll probably have a great time regardless.

On the radio, they said it ends Oct. 17 (5 days after some King in the 1800's Wedding day on Oct. 12).

Think that was the original back in the day. Lately it ends on the first weekend in October.

Went before Octoberfest several years ago. It wasn't crazy crowded and was able to see and drink all we could.
