I was initially a little disappointed that Sean didn't win the starting job with him being in Jimbo's system for 4 years. But thinking about it, Golson is a good QB with tons of experience with better mobility. Nothing is going to rattle Golson. I do expect him to have jitters for the Miami game but I don't expect him to be bothered by Clemson and oddly I don't believe he's going to be nervous facing UF.
As to next season I do hope Sean wins the starting job. Our team is going to be loaded across the board and I believe I could play QB next season and we'd be top 5.
One other thing I've been hoping for. If Sean wins the starting role next season JJ will be a redshirt Jr when he takes over. I know many of you guys are into the "start the 5 star" guy now. But Jameis Winston was a totally different breed of QB and look at the inconsistency of other programs who start young guys all the time.
FSU needs to get back to the redshirt Jr QB rotation simply because college QBs that play at extremely high levels are only going to play 2 years before they declare. The NFL is a bad QB league their are about 20 GMs at any one time desperate for QBs so they'll only be here 3 years tops.
