Watching the rockets and Golden State play:

1. The finals this year is those two teams in the west finals. No one from the east can stay with either.

2. So your telling me at one point in time OKC had Westbrook, Kevin Durant and James Harden. I know that was a while ago but simply amazing they were together at one point. Was Harden drafted by OKC?

3. Throw the stats away but straight up who do you take Harden or Steph Curry?

1. Yes, both are tremendous this year. I hate Houston so I hope their run is short lived.

2. Yeah, Harden was no where close the player he is now. There simply weren't enough shots to go around for that team to work.

3. Hard question. I don't like Harden, so I'd probably say Curry. Curry isn't even best player on his own team, though, that's certainly KD.

You hate Houston overall (rockets, astros, Texans, etc) or is it specific to the rockets? You from Dallas Fort Worth area or something ..? Oh wait are you spurs fan?

I’m very impressed with Harden. His dribble and then step back shot is almost impossible to defend. Van Gundy just said the difference for Houston this year is Chris Paul— Harden would tire out in the playoffs previously. Should be interesting...

Yes, from San Antonio, the two cities don't like each other. Especially in basketball. I am an Astros fan since I was a kid, liked the oilers too but not after they left to Tennessee.

As for Harden, he's great on offense but a liability on defense. I don't like that he quits on plays, doesn't play both ways, and is mentally fragile. It's easy to get into his head, which doesn't bode well for Houston as Paul is the same way. When going gets tough, both guys are quick to point fingers.

Ain’t nothing but pro Warriors refs on this game. The NBA is a joke

NBA refs are fan boys. Curry sticks his leg out and gets the call because nba refs need it

The first NBA game I ever went to was in 1980, The Celtics vs the Rockets, Bird's first ever playoff game. I walked to courtside and tried to get autographs and Moses Malone was the only player to sign, so I've always liked Houston.

What a treat it was watching those two teams last night. Boston has beaten both GS and Houston (without Paul).

I think Boston can win the East, but at this point, I do not think they can beat either GS nor Houston in a 7 game series. Give Tatum another year, and add back in Gordon Haywood, and next year will be different.

The refs have gotten better the past couple of years, but they have been lousy this year.

Right
He even won the Sixth Man of the Year with the Thunder.
Yeah, that was nuts - he was amazing off the bench.
If I had a crappy team and I could have harden or curry I choose harden. Curry lives off the luxury of being able to rest the first 3 quarters and then steal the glory in the 4th when everyone else is tired. He does this because his team is deep. Put him somewhere else and he'd have to lead/work.

Yesterday I played the NBA2K video game and I’ll say it’s my favorite video game (sports). Yes, better than FIFA.

Anyway I played against my son and picked the All-time Laker team— starters we’re:
Jerry West
Magic
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Kobe Bryant
Shaq

Incredible team....

Does Curry play better defense than Harden... I think Harden has done better this year.

I'm a pretty casual NBA watcher so take my opinion for what it's worth, but I certainly don't think of Steph Curry as a good defender. He's certainly no better than Harden on D.

The Bucks have fired former golden boy Jason Kidd and everything in Cleveland is Kevin Love's fault.

I read an article about Love on ESPN just a few minutes ago. Yes, a lot of the finger pointing is at him. Was there anyway to salvage keeping Kyrie on the team? Wonder if they are regretting it....
