With Craig coming on as an analyst rather than a coach it has me wondering how much interaction he is even allowed to have with players or even for recruiting. It is my understanding that the NCAA rules state:

No individual other than coaches designated to fill the coaching categories set forth in Bylaw 11.7.2 may participate in any manner in the coaching of the intercollegiate team of a member institution during any football game, practice or other organized activity.

And 11.7.2 is: There shall be a limit of one head coach, nine assistant coaches and two graduate assistant coaches who may be employed by an institution in bowl subdivision football.

Just watching the videos and seeing them ask Deondre if he has talked to Craig that if he had said yes if that would have been some sort of violation.

Additionally, since he is an ace recruiter how much can he even be involved in talking to a recruit if he is not one of the assistant coaches?
