The public is invited to Glory Days Grill on Capital Circle NE on Sunday night to celebrate the Florida State Women’s Basketball team at the Selection Show Watch Party presented by Rising Spear.

The watch party begins at 7:30 p.m., while programming for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show starts at 8 p.m. on ESPN. Florida State Women’s Basketball student-athletes and staff will be on hand to find out where the Seminoles will be making their next NCAA Tournament trip.

Florida State is planning on making its 10th consecutive trip to the Big Dance. Its current run of nine straight appearances makes the Seminoles one of just eight schools in the country who share the same streak, joining Baylor, Louisville, Maryland, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee and UConn.

Wish I could be there for the fun.

I think a 7 is about right, which is interesting to say now considering this team really did have a shot of hosting on a 4 line or better a very short time ago.. Hopefully Latson is back and the team is healthy/ready to go, and they can bring the energy often on display at home on the road, because that’s what it’s gonna take to even win a game. This team definitely has the ability to get past the first weekend, but it all depends on the effort it decides to bring on the road with it. 40 minutes and it won’t be easy. Not thrilled to see we’re predicted to be in Salt Lake with a R32 matchup with Utah, but as a 7, any team we face in the second game will be a stiff challenge. This is compounded by the fact that the ladies have just not been a great team away from Tallahassee.

Looking forward to seeing the bracket reveal tonight.
