The Netflix movie Greater is not directly related to FSU but does indirectly. Still it is a very good movie.

The movie is about an kid growing up in Arkansas and wants to play OL for the Razorbacks. Of course in 1998, I was in attendance for Arkansas at Tennessee at Neyland Stadium in the pouring rain. One of my top 10 games seen live of all time.

Tennessee went on to win the game late and played (you guessed it) FSU for the national championship in the Fiesta Bowl. If Arkansas has been able to hold on to that victory then FSU might have been play someone other than Tennessee for the National Championship game. But Tee Martin, Peerless Price, and Al Wilson beat the Noles w our 3rd string QB.

Interesting notes:
* Tee Martin's youngest son Kaden Martin is a junior at Knoxville Catholic HS and is one of the top dual threat QBs in TN plus an ever better baseball player. Maybe FSU w Coach Norvell and Coach Martin Jr will look his way.
*Burlsworth would have been blocking for a 2nd year pro Peyton Manning
*You get to hear the legendary Vols radio broadcaster of John Ward during the movie.
*Crazy how Coach Houston Nutt turned around the Arkansas program in one year. So there is hope for FSU but we need a lot of Bradon Burlsworth players
*I told a friend of my dad's before the game that Tennessee need some luck go your way to win a natty. That night against Arkansas it happened.
*Brandon's brother is played by Neal McDonough. He played in the movie Red opposite Bruce Willis. Hard to see him playing a good guy because he plays the perfect bad guy.

Enjoy!

I remember that game well. TN was behind late in the game and Ark was running out the clock with a few minutes left and fumbled. Ark still had a chance but could not stop Travis Henry running the ball. It was a very good game.

It was pouring rain all game long but when Clint Stoerner laid that ball on the ground I was so shocked because they had the game.
