New Orleans/Ugly Dog Saloon question?

We will be in New Orleans the weekend of the FSU/Louisville game Oct 17th.

Will be at an Irish Festival at Kingsley House that AM...I see it is less than a mile from there to the Ugly Dog Saloon. Is it safe to walk from the Kingsley House event to the Ugly Dog Saloon to watch the game there? (Have to walk under HWY 90 according to google map) It says to walk on Annunciation Street.

ThanksRJ2kwj...my daughter does Irish dance and they will be competing at the Festival Saturday...hoping she is done by game time so we can head over to Ugly Dog.
