Newman’s own...

Never tried the pizza. I like the some of the salsas and salad dressings. He was a talented and generous dude. I think one of his movies made me realize that old movies could be awesome too.

Most of the products I have tried were quite good, including the pizza, salsa, and coffee

Inspired by this thread, I got a Newman's Own Thin Crust Supreme for dinner tonight. It is very good with a great thin crust and fresh tasting ingredients, but I would have liked a little more sauce and a little more cheese on it. 8/10 rating.

Also an outstanding driver. He finished 2nd at LeMans in 1979 and won several SCCS National championships. He was incredible smooth and fast. Bob Bondurant said that he could have had a successful Formula 1 career had he begun racing earlier.

Some serious acting chops (Cool hand Luke is one of my favorites all time), pretty legit racer, makes a really good salad dressing and gives all the profits away. Pretty cool dude in my books.
Also one of the few so handsome for so long that he transcended the years. Both my wife and my mom had the hots for him.

Totally forgot about that, you are correct. I not into dudes, but if I was..... He did have pretty blue eyes.

I forget the name of the camp he established for children with serious illnesses. Maybe Hole in the Wall Gang Camp? Anyway, saw a story years ago about this camp and how many kids benefited, all of whom had life threatening illnesses. There's a guy who did so much good with his fame.

For those who do not know, all of Newman's Own profits go to charity. About $500 million has gone to charity.

Did not know this either. I've never tried the stuff but I will now. If is as good as Ken's, which is the best of the worst - cause they're all bad, I'll start buying it...

Yeah, it's the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp (that was the name of the gang of outlaws in Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid).
