Has anyone heard anything regarding Rodemaker? My hope is that he will have a great spring and prove that he can be a good backup to JT. If Rodemaker steps it up and has a great spring it also reduces the need to bring in a transfer QB.
Looking back at the start of the 2020 season, Blackman was benched after losing to Ga Tech and Miami. Going into the Jax St game, Tate Rodemaker, as a TRUE FRESHMAN, was named the starter over Travis and Blackman. Tate played terrible and didn't make it much past the 1st quarter, but he had still shown enough to Norvell and Co. to be given the start over the older and more experienced Travis.
I haven't heard or seen much about Rodemaker recently, but not many fans consider him to be a viable option at QB. What say you? Any reasons for optimism or should we be afraid if we have to rely on him at any point this season?
