I understand that losing 4/5ths of a long tenured line equals an almost certain downgrade for the unit, but is that taking the short-sighted view?

Although it is likely that Cam and Jackson get drafted in the top half of the 2015 NFL draft, it really doesn't appear at this point that Matias or Hart will. There might even be a possibility that one or both sign as FA's and aren't drafted at all.

Oddly enough, aside from Hart, none of these guys were highly recruited. Jackson and Cam weren't even recruited as OL at all!

Could it be that with RoJo, Are, Mavety, and whomever else they plug into the other two spots will be better overall? The guys coming in were more highly recruited than the guys going out.

I'm just saying that maybe people are jumping to conclusions by assuming that the OL is going to take a big step back. Turnover in CFB is normal and unavoidable. Good teams survive it and turn a corner. I hope that we are at that point.
