I’m not sure we can blame him. He inherited a pretty good team at Memphis from Justin Fuente. He came in there and did well. That’s easy to do when you have recruited well at your level.
He came here where there is little to no talent that is good enough to play here. There is no chance he lasts here and that is sad because I really like his demeanor and message. It won’t work with who we have here.
We will ride out these next five years and finish paying Willie and then maybe we will go after a real power five Coach that can really teach players how to play.
