Had my fantasy football draft tonight at a bar in midtown. Two waitresses handling our group, one sees me wearing my Seminole shirt and can't resist commenting:
Waitress: "Ewww, FSU? I hate you guys, I went to Florida."
Me: "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."
W: "Why? I never met anyone that didn't get in to Florida State."
Me: "Thats nice, but remember you are a waitress who will be serving me beer for the rest of the night and not the other way around. FSU must be doing something right, huh?"
Speechless, walks away after my friends laugh at her, apparently switched rooms with another waitress.
Go Noles, it's that time of year again!
