Thoughts:
I'll never understand letting/forcing Bell to transfer. He was a guy who showed promise in his younger years and talent the last couple of years. He'd be an asset to 2017's line.
Johnson's 13 total pressures in 2016 equates to ~1 a game. Only 2 sacks given up all season (3 including Michigan ...). Not bad for a guy people around here don't seem to respect. The numbers show he was worthy of the JACOBS and 1st Team ALL AMERICAN honors.
Eberle ... surprised? Considering some of the stout DT's he faced last season, and despite some of the obvious bad plays (where he got pushed back badly), he was pretty consistent & really not bad. Kind of like @CaNOLEE has always claimed. Is he perfect? No way. But a bigger, stronger, more experienced Eberle could be an asset this season.
The guards NEED to be better. Considering those grades, it's no wonder people think less of Eberle - pressure up the middle is often on the guards, though.
I wonder how many of those pressures against Leonard came in games 1-3, and how many came in the last 3 games. I'm hoping to see continued improvement.
Sorry, but a pressure or sack every 13 pass opportunities is awful, and we can't rely on that this season.
