Last season, we were criticized for having a weak schedule. As the returning National Champs, we weren't given any respect and didn't stay as a wire-to-wire #1 because of arbitrary standards created by the College Football Playoff Committee, despite going undefeated during the regular season.
Now, Ohio State is the returning National Champs and they don't play a single ranked team until Nov. 21 against Michigan State. We know the Big 10 is down this year, and yet Ohio State will cruise through this schedule and probably have no problem getting the #1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, the talking heads are already preparing for the CFP Committee to leave the ACC Champion out. A terrible double standard.
