This moment was bound to happen, with accumulated experience (the likes of Jordan Travis, Trey Benson, Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Jaheim Bell) and others moving on to the NFL.
FSU’s coaches knew they had a challenge on their hands but also an opportunity to build the roster in their image, through relationships they built with high school prospects as well as those in the transfer portal (and many of those relationships existed years ago when they were in high school, too).
