We led the nation in passing yards allowed/game. What makes this so amazing is that our opponents had to pass pretty much all game with the early holes they were in. 28-0 first quarters, 35-0 first quarters, etc. Teams that field extremely high powered offenses that score as fast as we did typically give up passing yards, even if it's just garbage time. You rarely see such teams highly ranked in passing yards allowed, much less lead the nation in it. Just another reason that team is top 5 all-time IMO.
