Good to see Day finally break through
I was pulling for JS but it was also good to see Day finally break through with his first major. IMO golf is getting more enjoyable to watch than anytime since Zinger, Couples, Love, and that bunch was all in their prime. I was always in awe of Tiger's skills and game but his actions on the course turned me off from watching for a long time.
Great tournament. Thank God the Tiger era is over. This year has been refreshing...

Tiger = trash. What annoyed me more than Tiger was the media fellating him at every turn. I am sure that many of the media people knew what a complete jackass he was/is -- totally apart from banging waitresses in church parking lots -- but they blindly parroted the narrative and pulled off one of the biggest media hoaxes of our time.
JHN speaks the truth though. We all know it's true. It's like they did with the Jameis story. Everybody knew there was a legit, 'nother side to the story but nobody (the press) would go out on a limb and speak the truth. So what's even worse than the douchery are the throngs of lemmings (the people) that go along with the narrative...
He is an all time great! If he never plays another tourney he will go down as the second greatest player ever. And beyond that, he is a multi racial guy dominating in a sport that was basically 100% rich white guys. It's not hard to understand why the media covered him so closely.
It's laughable his attempt at damage control to try to be one of the guys with insincere tweets and yukking it up in practice rounds with various players. His dye is cast and everyone but him knows it...
I know him in a way that most of you do not. Not very honorable in any of his dealings....whether in a church parking lot or in a business setting. Beyond that, he always treats fans with contempt, even small kids. All of that is explained away as "being a fierce competitor," but that's just cover for the truth (i.e., he's not a good guy).

You're so caught up in this "good guy" thing and fail to realize how many of us don't care. Plenty of transcendent athletes have been pricks off the field or womanizers. I watch great athletes because they're great athletes and Tiger dominated golf for a 10 year period that was incredible.
I just don't follow or admire dirtbags. If you like him, that's all good. In addition to his countless character flaws, Tiger is also a steroid abuser.....that's why his body is breaking down like a 1989 Oldsmobile. Again, if you "don't care," that's no problem in my book. It's a (reasonably) free country and people can have different views.
Again would love to hear your rationale for him being a "steroid abuser". I don't really "like" the guy one way or another. I don't know him. I like to watch him play golf and the sport is more interesting when he's in the thick of things. I have my doubts he will ever really compete at a high level again but I would love to see it.
You can Google him and learn about his curious affiliation with the Canadian "blood spinner" who was here for his surgeries. You can also monitor his physical growth and see pretty clearly that it wasn't normal. Also, his ex-wife got way more money than she should have in exchange for an iron-clad confidentiality agreement. Tiger wanted to keep her quiet about "that."
I'll buy the doctor thing but not the others. Guys lift weights and eat well will get bigger. He never has been that big. Maybe compared to most golfers who have bitch tits but he's fit, nothing more. Go to any gym and Tiger would be completely average. Hell, Rory should be under suspicion too based on your criteria of size. The thing with his wife is some pretty massive speculation.
