it is very doable. the impressive part is the distance. that should be the record. I can throw it high enough to run under about 5 yards out.

OK I call bs on first toss, definitely "doctored". Second one was certainly real but no way 40 yards.

I still call BS. The second throw, done for CNN, looked like it was about 20 yards. I timed it at about 3.6 seconds.

The first one, on YouTube and shown again by CNN, somebody HEAVED it. I timed that first throw at well over over six seconds (6.5). No punter can get that much hang time. You can see he actually slows up to wait for it as it comes down. He definitely had someone throw the YouTube pass, and it had to be thrown after he took off.
